Exeter Agri-Energy is a state-of-the-art anaerobic digestion facility in Exeter, Maine which processes clean and packaged food waste along with cow manure to make renewable power and fertilizer, among other things.
Agri-Cycle collects food waste from a variety of businesses around New England – from restaurants to grocery stores to cafeterias – and delivers it to Exeter Agri-Energy for conversion into green products including renewable power and fertilizer.
Stonyvale Farm, a fifth generation dairy, serves as the host site for Exeter Agri-Energy and provides the cow manure from its 2000+ cows that helps power the anaerobic digester.
